Ridgewood Open Studios 2025

Saturday-Sunday May 17-18

12 pm-6pm

The Tallichet Freedman Foundation is pleased to present work from the estate of Matt Freedman as part of Ridgewood Open Studios 2025.

We’ll be opening up The Gogue to showcase a selection of work by Matt Freedman, whose prolific and deeply curious practice spanned sculpture, drawing, storytelling, and humor. Through his work, Matt revealed the absurdities of everyday life and invited us to engage more deeply with the world around us.

Jude and Sabrina will be there, so please stop by to say hello!

Copies of “One for the Ages: The World of Matt Freedman”, a new publication from Cabinet Books, will also be available. The book brings together essays, drawings, and memories that reflect the breadth and spirit of Matt’s singular creative life.

We hope you’ll join us in honoring his legacy.
